We're pleased to announce our Ambassadors for this year are Mary Mackniak, who is Past President of the Irish Club of Regina and was the 2008 Ambassador for the Regina Multicultural Council and Chuck Steen, a long time Irish Club Member and Mosaic supporter. Our Youth Ambassadors are Latisha Ireland, who is a dancer with the Prairie Gael School of Irish Dance and Katrina Hognerud, a dancer with the Irish Club of Regina Dancers.

Our Mosaic History...

The Irish Club has been a part of Mosaic since 2003 and from 1997 and earlier. It's become a tradition and a wonderful way to promote Ireland and Irish culture within Regina and area. The pavilion has gone off without a hitch and we would like to thank each and every person that helps to make our pavilion a reality. We couldn't have pulled it off without you. Pulling together something of this magnitute is quite a feat and we can be proud of what we accomplished.

We've had an outstanding line up of entertainment, including Regina's own Regina Prairie Gael School of Irish Dance, the Saskatoon Academy of Irish Dance and our own Irish Club of Regina Dancers. We've also had excellent music provided by Cross Quarters, Tarry Trousers, Reel Brew, Crofter's Revenge, the Conservatory of Performing Arts and City of Regina Pipe Bands, RĂ³gairĂ, Celtica, Banshee's Wail and the Dust Rhinos to name but a few!

We would encourage everyone who has an interest in helping out to keep us in mind for next year. All of our volunteers were much appriciated and if you were to ask any of them, we're sure they would tell you they had an absolute blast helping out, Irish or not.
